SHIGERU BAN

The Japanese seem to have a talent when it comes to designing.
Just look at Shigeru Ban's work. It is absolutely stunning and far from what you would see in Vancouver.
One of the things that really drew me into his buildings was his work in disaster relief areas.
Not only does he showcase exceptional detailing in his architecture, he also demonstrates that buildings and monuments can help create a better environment.
His humanitarian work makes me appreciate him that much more.
I have included some pictures of his works so you can all see how amazing they are.
For further information about him you can visit his firm SHIGERU BAN ARCHITECTS
So congratulations to Shigeru Ban for receiving the Pritzker Prize!
