Looking at these rooms makes me feel so calm and relaxed.

Tips to creating a serene and comforting place:

Use of Colours
Very light tints of warm or cool colours will make a place appear more relaxing.
Cool colours include greys, blues and greens. Think of the colours of the ocean.
Warm colours include oranges, yellows and reds.
Make sure the colours you decide on is a tint (lighter versions of the colour).

Use of Textiles
Notice the textiles they used? They appear to be very soft.
Furs, throws, blankets and pillows help enhance the comfort of a room.

Use of Gentle/Natural Lighting
Sunlight is the best type of light when it comes to creating a serene space.
Allow as much natural light into the room as possible.
Also, look into switching to a lower wattage lightbulb or using a dimmer.
(I love dimmers!)

Have a pleasant day everyone

xx
Emily
